DANIEL: October 26, 2011

Dear family and friends,

Sorry for not E-mailing you last week. I am soo... happy for Courtney and Adam. I love the Baby pictures. I wish I'm there now I would give a lot of kiss to the baby [do it for me mom]. Sounds like every this is going fine there and exiting things are coming up for our family.

I am doing great and geting little fat and this time for real I have little big muscles. Every thing is going very will and I had been learning a lot of things and love it. How is dad?
 

The spiritual moment was two days ago I was reading the Book of Mormon in {Mosiah 14} I was cried because I felt the love of God for me and for my people in the world. I thought to myself I am so grateful to be a missionary to help and teach about Christ to my own people in India. I also thought to myself for me He was suffered and died. I came to know how important the Atonement in my life. I love my savior and what He had done so I can come to out Heavenly Father. I encrouge all of you to read this chapter and think about it what Christ had done in your life.

DAVID: October 23, 2011

This week was great.  We found many people and taught them the gospel.  The one family that i want to tell you is this family of 4 members.  The father was injured in a bike accident and we went to give him a blessing.  After he received the blessing he told us that he felt the spirit and knew us before this life.  I was really surprised to hear that from this man who we never met before.  Of course we taught him the Plan of Salvation.  He was kept asking  ?'s that are really related to the Church doctrine. The Spirit was very strong and
testfied of the message that we shared with his family.  The husband also prayed for the first time in his hole life.  It was one of the great prayers that i have heard for long time.  The wife was also very happy for her husband and that she wanted to write the husband prayer in a paper.  She loved it.  This experence was really strengthen my faith in Jesus Christ.

I love teaching people the gospel and this is the best thing that i can be doing in my age at this time.  Please pray for this family Kanababu, if possible take the name to the Temple.  He is really struglling with his family finacially.  Took some risk in business and lost them all and so he is in big debt and asked us to help him.  But
we could not help him  and taught why there are problems in this life.  His family is taking baptism this week, but dad wants to wait to little longer because of this problem.

I am very happy to see Leah.  I am happy for Courtney.

DAVID: October 17, 2011

This week was awesome.  We had our zone conference and we basically talk about redoubling our effort. We traveled in the train for 4 hours. First time in India that i am travelling in train for long time.  

This week we baptized two Heavenly Father's children.  Sister Shanti and Brother Siva.  It was really wonderful to see them change and I baptized Siva and Shanti's brother baptized her.   We also found a new family of four members and they are also going to take the baptism this month.  This family's religious background is Hindu and they loved the church this week and had a great time together as a family.  There are many good people are waiting for us to teach them the gospel.  I really love this work and slowly grasping the gospel doctrines and principles.  I learned so many things already.  However, there are many many things that i need to learn.

This week we had a goal of 10 new investigators without knowing that we will be gone for Zone Conference for two days.  So until Sunday we only had 1 investigator and so we did nor give up and exercised our Faith and start calling our referrals.  We really trusted Heavenly Father and so this one referral told us to come to his house.  So before Church we went to visit this man. A miracle happened.  When we went to his house and found out that there are 7 other family members living in the same house.  First i thanked My Heavenly Father for giving this wonderful family and later we found another family of two.  So we found 10 new investigators in one day, because we did not give up and exercised our faith.  It was amazing.

I am really doing well here and i love the branch and also Sister Funk said that she received a  letter from you mom.  I told her about our family and my experience in USA. Pre. Funk is really awesome. He is really pushing the missionaries to redoubling everything.  

I love this Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know it is true.

I am so glad that Court and the baby are doing well. The baby is soooooo cute and beautiful.  I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I love you Witcher Family.  WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I will continued to pray for our family. I love you all very much.

SISTER ANDREA FUNK (DAVID'S MISSION PRESIDENT'S WIFE): October 16, 2011

Dear Elder Aruldoss and family,

Last week we were in Rajahmundry for Zone Conference.  We were able to spend the day with Elder Aruldoss and his companion Elder Tamang.  They are doing a great service in Visakhapatnam.  Elder Aruldoss is well prepared to serve.  During our Zone Conference we learned about seeking revelation, acting in all diligence, planning and faith.  As Elder Aruldoss applies the things we learned he will be blessed in all his doings.

During our meeting he bore his testimony.  He said, "I am grateful for all I have learned.  I know it is true that when we trust God he will help us with everything we need.  I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God.  As we read it we will grow closer to God and Jesus Christ.  I love my Savior."

Dear Families and Friends

Thank you for your support and encouragements. I love reading your letters. Last week I watched the General Conference it was wonderful and amazing to lesson to all the talks. Lot of my questions and received many revelations. I'm glad we have prophets and apostles to lead and guide us in the terrible days. I hope everything is going will for all of you.

This is my spiritual moment for the week. 
                                                             
The most spiritual moment was yesterday, after the District meet. We got referrals from one our elder in our district. We came to our apartment and started doing out companionship study and we also planned to teach Bro. Nilender. When we got there, we asked about him. We started with payer and when we started to teach him the spirit was so strong. After the lesson I asked my companion what made this lesson so spiritual. He gave me so wonderful advice and we moved on. This morning in my personal study I was prompted make list why it was spiritual and what did we do and how did we prepared?
 

These are the some things we did 

1. We were prepared the teach the person not the lesson
2. We were talking about the person
3. He was opened to receive the message
4. Started with a prayer
5. Used the bulletin points
6. We answered him all of his questions
7. We were teaching and testifying
8. We invited him
9. Ended with a prayer    

 I was grateful for my Savior who gave me this responsibility to teach His gospel  on His mission.

Hi everyone.

I am doing well here in Vizak. I am doing my best to help my people here in India.  I love this work very much.  The Gerneral Conference was great.  There were so many good talks were given by leaders.  Last time I was with my Allred family during the Conference and this time i was here in India.

I have to tell you this.  This week crazist thing happened.  so one of our members who recentally got baptized.

We asked him for referrals.  so he told us that he wants to take us to his old friend.  He took us to this family's house.  This family was a strong protestants.  so we went to their house and introduced us to them.  So those people were start talking to us and did not want to listen to us at all.  They were telling us that our church is belong to the devil and we worship Joseph Smith and everything.  So they completely rejected us and said that they dont need any other book than Bible.  So i did not speak anything to them and my companion was trying to explain to them and they didnt  listen.  They didnt even let us say prayer.  So i just bore my testimony to them and my companion and I walked outside.  However, the member stayed with his old friend. 

The next day the member called us and told us that our is not a true church and went further and told that he wants to meet us later.  So went to his house with our branch president.  He the member start showing us all these scriptures that his old friend showed him and completely changed him and his testimony.  This member told us that he will not come to church anymore and gave the Book of Mormon back to us.  He basically said that our church is wrong and we dont need any prophets and Book of Mormom.  The old friend of him changed him aganist the church in one day. 

I was watching and listening to this the whole time.  He did not listen to us and also Branch Pre. told him.  But he did not want to listen to any of us.  I was really shocked by hearing him.  He also bore his testimony during the fast sunday.  He was a good man, but Satan was really convinced him.  We really want to help him to get back in the church and be active.  Please pray for him.

We also found a new family who belong to Himdu back ground.  They are going to take the baptism this month.  Also my companion and I are baptizing two new people this coming week.  I am sooooooo excited for them.  This place Vizac is wonderful and I love the people here. 

Jill, thank you for the email.  I love you all and miss you very much. 

Hey, mom I found a white tie today at store.  I am happy to have it now.

One more thing.  I MISS TEXAS SHEET CAKE. :)

Dear Family and Friends
                     
I'm sorry for not writing a whole lot last week. We had my first baptism two weeks ago. his name is Bro. Bishan every time we taught he always exuded to learn about the gospel. I was sooo happy for him.

This week I learned a lot of things. One of the important lessons was how to study the scriptures effectively. What I did was past my years I just read and memorized it. When I came on HIS mission I started to put them into practice and I have learned a lot, and it is helping my faith to grow stronger and stronger every day.
Now I understand the purpose of the scripture study and apply them to everyday life.

I have been praying for Court and I hope everything goes well. Tell them I said Hi and I love my brothers and sisters. I will send some pictures next week.

Dear family.

This week was really good.  We had 6 baptismal date this week.  I am really happy for those family. Mohan received the Holy Ghost and he bore his testimony also. I have less time this time, so parden me for less writhing.  We did a service project last week and it was a hard work.  We planted about 200 coconut trees and papaya trees. Many members supported and came to help this project.  This service also came on a news paper.  It was a big one.  I will send the pic later. 

I will write tomorrow.  Have to go.

Dear mom,

Thank you for your supports and concerns. I jest bought a camera today.  I'm doing great and learning sooooo... much each day. sometimes I can't believe myself I'm doing this?  I'm starting to find my weakness and strengths everyday.  I've been reading a lots of scripturs and books about the Christ and about the Church. 

I'm sorry I don't have enough time to share all of my feelings.  I will do that next time.  I love you all and tell everyone to read the scripturs and pray daily.  I really miss you all.
