DAVID: February 27, 2012

My Dear family,

I am doing very well here in Rajahmundry. Actually, it is really HOT in the afternoons. Finally, my nversticators came to Church last week.  I was so happy about that.  We had a Church full of members last week because we a combined 3 branches together. On sunday, we found and taught a family, half of them were Muslem and half of them were Christian.  IT was fun teaching them.  it is also hard for us to find a English speaking family here.  This place is more like a village, not fully developed city yet.

Pretty soon the church is opening a new branch in my place.  It is so exciting to see the growth in Rajahmundry.  I love it.

My companion was in a depate class in Utah and very good at debate. He really wants to teach the pasters here.  So last week we were specifilly looking for the pasters.  As we were eating lunch one day, there were two pasters came and sat next to us.  We had a nice conversation with them.  My companion could not really debate with them because either of them spoke English.  He was little dissapointed.

Gospel is TRUE! Missionary work is the best.

Dear families and Friends
How are you? I’m doing wonderful. Can you believe that I had finished with HIS MISSION for 6 months I can’t believe it? The funny part was I didn’t know I had finished until one of my Batch mite called me on Monday and congregated me.  Any way how is Jill and Jace and my two little babies. Tell them I said Hi and I love them. How is abbey and Dad are they doing good.
Yes, David and I were trained by some of the great leaders in our 9th ward, and I am grateful for it. Now also thankful for the members in our word and their testimony of the Gospel. I see in India how much important to gain the testimony of the Gospel. Because my companion I struggling to get 50 people to church. Most of the time we go and pick them up but still they give excuses to not to come to church. Each week we plan and call people for church so they can remember to come to church.
My spiritual experience was with our BMP (branch mission processes) family. The family name is Rahul. We took one of our leaders who are brother. Peter KC. We talked about Faith in God. We shared few scriptures with Rahul and his mom. In the end of the lesion Rahul’s mom stated to cry and she said to my companion what are some of there concerns. When we were teaching her the spirit was so strong. I thought to myself I have no idea how much this gospel will help and strengthen the BMP’s family.
I love my Heavenly Father and His Son for what they have done for us to bring about this Gospel. I am grateful because I have to witness the miracles that this Gospel brings to others life and mine.
Last week we had Zone conference. I love this revelatory meeting because our mission president William K. Jackson helps us with what we are struggling as a mission. It has been heard for the New Delhi mission to find people to teach. He talked about how finding helps us to built faith in God. I had learned it is very important to have faith God and He will help us and will guide us to the elected people.
I need to go because one of our investigators home to give a blessing. Talk to you later.
Love you families and Friends.

DANIEL: February 15, 2012

Daniel's monthly mission newsletter is here.

DANIEL: February 15, 2012

This is a wonderful story about the atonement please read this is and Mosiah 14.

In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features save for the one wall covered with small index-card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endlessly in either direction, had very different headings. As I drew near the wall of files, the first to catch my attention was one that read "Girls I Have Liked." I opened it and began flipping through the cards. I quickly shut it, shocked to realize that I recognized the names written on each one.
And then without being told, I knew exactly where I was. This lifeless room with its small files was a crude catalog system for my life. Here were written the actions of my every moment, big and small, in a detail my memory couldn't match.
A sense of wonder and curiosity, coupled with horror, stirred within me as I began randomly opening files and exploring their content. Some brought joy and sweet memories; others a sense of shame and regret so intense that I would look over my shoulder to see if anyone was watching. A file named "Friends" was next to one marked "Friends I Have Betrayed."

The titles ranged from the mundane to the outright weird. "Books I Have Read," "Lies I Have Told," "Comfort I Have Given," "Jokes I Have Laughed At." Some were almost hilarious in their exactness: "Things I've Yelled at My Brothers." Others I couldn't laugh at: "Things I Have Done in My Anger," "Things I Have Muttered Under My Breath at My Parents." I never ceased to be surprised by the contents. Often there were many more cards than I expected. Sometimes fewer than I hoped.

I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the life I had lived. Could it be possible that I had the time in my 20 years to write each of these thousands or even millions of cards? But each card confirmed this truth. Each was written in my own handwriting. Each signed with my signature.

When I pulled out the file marked "Songs I Have Listened To," I realized the files grew to contain their contents. The cards were packed tightly, and yet after two or three yards, I hadn't found the end of the file. I shut it, shamed, not so much by the quality of music, but more by the vast amount of time I knew that file represented.

When I came to a file marked "Lustful Thoughts," I felt a chill run through my body. I pulled the file out only an inch, not willing to test its size, and drew out a card. I shuddered at its detailed content. I felt sick to think that such a moment had been recorded.

An almost animal rage broke on me. One thought dominated my mind: "No one must ever see these cards! No one must ever see this room! I have to destroy them!" In an insane frenzy I yanked the file out. Its size didn't matter now. I had to empty it and burn the cards. But as I took it at one end and began pounding it on the floor, I could not dislodge a single card. I became desperate and pulled out a card, only to find it as strong as steel when I tried to tear it.

Defeated and utterly helpless, I returned the file to its slot. Leaning my forehead against the wall, I let out a long, self-pitying sigh. And then I saw it. The title bore "People I Have Shared the Gospel With." The handle was brighter than those around it, newer, almost unused. I pulled on its handle and a small box not more than three inches long fell into my hands. I could count the cards it contained on one hand.

And then the tears came. I began to weep. Sobs so deep that they hurt started in my stomach and shook through me. I fell on my knees and cried. I cried out of shame, from the overwhelming shame of it all. The rows of file shelves swirled in my tear-filled eyes. No one must ever, ever know of this room. I must lock it up and hide the key.

But then as I pushed away the tears, I saw Him. No, please not Him. Not here. Oh, anyone but Jesus.
I watched helplessly as He began to open the files and read the cards. I couldn't bear to watch His response. And in the moments I could bring myself to look at His face, I saw a sorrow deeper than my own. He seemed to intuitively go to the worst boxes. Why did He have to read every one?

Finally He turned and looked at me from across the room. He looked at me with pity in His eyes. But this was a pity that didn't anger me. I dropped my head, covered my face with my hands and began to cry again. He walked over and put His arm around me. He could have said so many things. But He didn't say a word. He just cried with me.

Then He got up and walked back to the wall of files. Starting at one end of the room, He took out a file and, one by one, began to sign His name over mine on each card.

"No!" I shouted rushing to Him. All I could find to say was "No, no," as I pulled the card from Him. His name shouldn't be on these cards. But there it was, written in red so rich, so dark, so alive. The name of Jesus covered mine. It was written with His blood.

He gently took the card back. He smiled a sad smile and began to sign the cards. I don't think I'll ever understand how He did it so quickly, but the next instant it seemed I heard Him close the last file and walk back to my side. He placed His hand on my shoulder and said, "It is finished."

I stood up, and He led me out of the room. There was no lock on its door. There were still cards to be written.

DANIEL: February 15, 2012

Hello families and friends,

How are you all doing? I hope you all had wonderful week. I forgat to tell you about cuple missionaries from Utha. we been working with them alot and they are little afraid about the traffic in India. my companion and I took them to shapping last night it was fun they had never had seen such a things like the market last night they were amazed. They are getting use to this culture in India. Their name is Elder and Sister. Crockstones. they had been a huge help in our area.

Some thing crazy and exiting news is that we had been watched over our Prophet and Apostils. My mission president told us they ask our Dwarka area everyday, because their is an experiment going on in our area that is Home Groups. In New Delhi buying land is very costly and heard do to this they rent a house and they gather in the renting place. if it's Succeeds they will start all over Asia. it kind of Scare because my mission president has to report to the quorums of the twelve every day what’s happing in Dwarka and our efforts weekly.
My Spiritual experience of this week is
My companion and I doing awesome. This week was wonderful week to both of us. We had been working heard in Dwarak Mor to help our members. I have been learning some of the valuable lessons in HIS mission. Tow days ago I was reading the Book of Mormon I had learned some thing important in my life and life of those who are waiting to hear the Gospel and for (R.C/L.A) in Mosiah 23:26-28. That was Alma and the people who enter the waters of the baptism and they all separated from King Noah.

Few years later they became prospers people in the wilderness. Now the Lamanites try to find the land of the Nephi but the finds the people of Alma. The people of Alma became afraid now Alma tells this people not are afraid and He helps them to over come the fear. People of Alma put their trust in God. God soften their hearts.

The lesson that I learned was now I am hear to help this people in Dwarka when they are discouraged, going through tough time, or afraid like the people of Alma. It is my responsibility to help the members and Investigators to turn their heart towered God and His gospel.

This work is very important in the whole world, and I am glad I am a part of His work.

study your scriptures and pray daily.

thank you for your love and support

Love you all.

DAVID: February 12, 2012

This week was pretty good.  We found many new people last week.  I learned that during these days here in Rajahmundry all the people like to say "How are you, I am fine." to us.  My companion is pretty famous here.  You see so many people run behind my companion's bicycle.  It's funny.

I had a cool experence last week. On Tuesday my companion was told me that we have to visit one of the less active member's house.  He reminded me so many times that day. Finally, i reliazed that there might be a reason that he was doing this.  So I told him "Lets go visit him."  The less active Santosh was not home when we got there. I looked at my companion and he looked at me.  Then i said "Lets go finding."  As we were coming to the main road, i heard a clapping sound.  It seems like someone was calling someone.  We kinda ignored the sound. But some reason i stopped my bicylce and went back to see who it was and what the sound was.

So when i saw the direction where the sound was coming from, there was a man looking at the street where we turned right to go the main road.  So he told me to come to his house and so we went into his house. He gave us so much food to eat and did not say anything else. We were confused and again looking at
each others face. we were like  WHAT IS GOING ON!!! Who is this man!! This man finally opened his mouth and said " I know you Missionaries and you are doing the Lords work."  Making long story short, we taught this family about the Restoration and they said that they will read the BOM and ask God the truth.  It was a great experence for me because i listened to my companion  and there we found this family.

Heavenly Father really knows his children and He led this family to us.  The Father of this family said that he will read the BOM in few days. I was so happy to hear from him and i know it will help him and his family.

I love my people in India.  They are the BEST!!  The gospel is True.

Love Elder Aruldoss.
